Chiropractic – Treating causes instead of symptoms
What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a form of manual therapy that focuses on the interaction between the spine, joints, and nervous system. The aim is to relieve restrictions on movement, correct misalignments, and restore the body's natural function.
The focus is not only on short-term pain relief, but also on lasting improvement in mobility, stability, and resilience.

How does chiropractic treatment work?
Targeted, precise adjustments release blockages in the spine and other joints. This can:
-
relieve the nervous system
-
improve mobility
-
regulate muscle tension
-
activate the body's self-healing powers
Chiropractic relies exclusively on manual techniques — without surgery or medication.

Your first visit to American Chiropractic Haus:
During the initial examination, the chiropractor will listen carefully to the patient's complaints and medical history in order to gain a comprehensive picture of their condition. They may ask questions about other injuries you have suffered or illnesses in your family. This is followed by a thorough examination, which may include a movement analysis and neurological or orthopedic tests.
With the help of these examinations, the chiropractor will try to determine the causes of blockages or pain. After completing the examination, the chiropractor will discuss the results with you and address any relevant concerns. He or she will then create a personalized treatment plan tailored to the patient's specific needs and goals. The need for additional radiological examinations may also be discussed, and your questions will be answered. This is followed by the first treatment.
Follow-up appointments at American Chiropractic Haus:
At your follow-up appointment, the chiropractor will talk to you about how you responded to the initial treatment. Your movements will be reassessed, as will any changes in your pain or symptoms. Based on these observations, the chiropractor will adjust your treatment plan accordingly and recommend exercises to improve stability or learn new movement patterns. A typical course of treatment usually involves 4-6 visits for an acute condition. For chronic conditions or complaints, it may take longer to achieve lasting changes.
Your treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs and is always a collaboration between you and your therapist. If you need additional therapies or want to change your chiropractic treatment plan, you and your therapist will make a joint decision. Your success is our goal, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible during the healing process.
